Mandatory Shipping Instructions
- Failure to comply with this routing guide can result in a charge-back of all shipping charges from unauthorized carriers or improper use of premium modes.
- Shipments via air or expedited service must be approved by your buyer
- Product is shipped to Hughes Network Systems via surface mode. Shipments arrive on the due date (if given) or within five (5) days prior to due date
- UPS Shipment in separate carton. Place a Hughes address label on each carton in addition to the UPS Label
- Consolidate all Hughes Shipments on any one day, into a single shipment
- Palletized small box shipment if applicable into a palletized shipment.
- The normal hns FOB Term, other than warranty replacement is FOB Origin freight collect unless the term is otherwise specified
- Do not place insurance value on Hughes shipments unless otherwise specified in the Purchase order.
- Hughes will not accept C.O.D shipments
- Packing and palletizing of items must current NMFC Standard
- Deliveries via a supplier’s private fleet are excluded from these instructions
- Always include the Hughes purchase order number on your inbound shipments. Include the GL Coding if provided by the buyer, see GL Coding instructions on the next page.
