Hughes and Gogo Announce Major Milestones in LEO Connectivity for Business Aviation

Next-gen aviation hardware is now shipping at scale from the Hughes state-of-the-art AS9100-certified manufacturing facility.

Washington, D.C., March 23, 2026 –Hughes Network Systems, LLC, an EchoStar company (Nasdaq: SATS), together with Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO), today announced two major milestones in their partnership to advance in-flight connectivity for business aviation. Hughes has shipped more than 600 Hughes HDX and FDX electronically steerable antennas (ESAs) to support the Gogo Galileo platform and, as of today, more than 120 aircraft are flying worldwide with the system in service.

Designed and manufactured at the Hughes AS9100-certified facility in Germantown, Maryland, the HDX and FDX ESAs power the Gogo Galileo system on the Eutelsat OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) network. Engineered with no moving parts and optimized for size, weight, and power, the terminals are built to meet the performance and environmental demands of business aviation aircraft. The Gogo Galileo system supports streaming, video conferencing, and real-time collaboration, while maintaining the low latency required for uninterrupted onboard productivity.
