Hughes Showcases Suite of Managed Services at NRF 2024
From January 13-16, 2024, Hughes will showcase its suite of managed services at Retail’s Big Show 2024, hosted by the National Retail Federation (NRF). As a technology and managed services provider to many top retailers, Hughes helps retailers secure, transform, and grow their businesses with its end-to-end managed services, including SD-WAN, cybersecurity, digital signage, Wi-Fi, VoIP, and Managed Wireless connectivity.
In 2024, Hughes is building on its SD-WAN offering by introducing Hughes Managed Wireless connectivity, a new service that enables retailers to “cut the cord” and get rapid deployment, increased flexibility, reliability, and a fully turnkey service. With a wireless first approach, Hughes brings connectivity options and a robust network infrastructure for retailers to run their business with secure and reliable technology, providing excellent employee and customer experiences. The service includes a firewall, support for multiple wireless WANs from a variety of providers, and support for wired LAN devices.
In addition to the Hughes Managed Wireless connectivity, Hughes has recently unveiled and enhanced other managed solutions that provide retailers with optimal management, reliability, and scalability.
- As a managed security services provider (MSSP), Hughes expanded its suite of cybersecurity services to include managed Security Access Service Edge (SASE), PCI 4.0 monitoring, Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and agentless Network Detection and Response (NDR).
- With its digital signage solutions, Hughes delivers immersive, digital experiences that engage employees and customers alike. Recent innovations to the Hughes MediaSignage™ cloud-based content management system (CMS) include support for zero-touch provisioning, simplified workflows, and SmartScan, an AI tool used to monitor screen performance.
- Hughes released the Active Power Edge, a first-of-its-kind, award-winning power distribution unit (PDU) that leverages AI/ML to detect and resolve network outages. This solution utilizes data about network and power usage to provide greater insight into performance, improve customer support and automate remediation of issues.
