EchoStar Welcomes FCC Initiating Further Rulemaking on Satellite Licensing Reform

ENGLEWOOD, CO, Sept. 30, 2014 -- In response to the Federal Communications Commission’s action today initiating a further rulemaking on satellite licensing reform, Jennifer A. Manner, vice president of regulatory affairs at EchoStar Corp. stated, “We welcome the FCC continuing to work with the satellite industry to revise its rules to provide increased flexibility and efficiency to satellite operators.
