EchoStar, with Hughes Network Systems, Named Global Satellite Business of the Year by Euroconsult

Company recognized for strategic initiatives, revenue and margin growth and commercial development

Germantown, MD, Sept. 24, 2018 — EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS), parent company of Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), was named “Global Satellite Business of the Year” at Euroconsult’s 15th Awards for Excellence in Satellite Communications. Pradman Kaul, president of Hughes, accepted the award during the ceremony held in Paris during this year’s World Summit for Satellite Financing.
