Originally developed by Hughes for our own broadband services, the HX System (and earlier HN System) ground network platform powers a variety of services for customers around the world. Compliant with the Internet Protocol over Satellite (IPoS), the HX System includes DVB-S2 with Adaptive Coding Modulation (ACM), the world’s most successful satellite industry standard, approved by TIA in North America, ETSI and ITU in Europe.
Manufactured on site at the Hughes factory in Maryland, U.S.A., the HX System includes an economical gateway earth station and high-performance remote terminals that scale from hundreds to thousands of sites.
