Hughes will showcase high-throughput satellite technology
Germantown, Md., June 10, 2014—Hughes Network Systems, LLC (Hughes), the global leader in broadband satellite solutions and services, will conduct technology workshops for current and prospective customers about the advantages of high-throughput satellite technology to connect people and power economic development, and host a hospitality suite at the CommunicAsia 2014 trade show/conference at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, June 17 – 20, 2014.
The technology briefings will cover various aspects of VSAT networking. They will be educational and informative and will feature topics such as satellite cellular backhaul, defense and government networks, high-throughput ground systems, and enterprise solutions for service providers.
Hughes executives also will host a hospitality suite and meet one-on-one with customers and prospects. The workshops and hospitality suite will be at the Heliconia 3410A Suite, level 3 at the Marina Bay Sands.
CommunicAsia is one of the world’s largest annual gatherings of communications technology companies and professionals. It includes a conference focus on satellite communications, which emphasizes broadband satellite’s role in extending Internet connectivity across Asia’s vast distances and varied geographies.
