Hughes Supplies Global-Teleport of Russia with Broadband Satellite Solution

HN System Utilized to Provide Internet Access and Rural Telephony

Germantown, Md., Sept. 10, 2007 Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), the world's leading provider of broadband satellite networks and services, announced today that Joint Stock Company Global-Teleport of Moscow, Russia is operating the Hughes HN broadband satellite solution to provide Internet access and rural telephony throughout Russia .

Under the National Education Project, Global-Teleport has deployed more than 2500 HN remote terminals throughout Russia, and operates an HN Network Operations Center (NOC) in Moscow at the All Russia Exhibit Center .
