BP Corporation Inc. Signs Contract Extension
with HUGHES

HughesNet^® Managed Network Services provided
to over 16,000 sites in U.S. and Europe

Germantown, Maryland, July 20, 2009 — Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), the global leader in broadband satellite solutions and services and a leading managed network services provider, today announced that it has signed a contract extension with BP Corporation Inc. to continue providing HughesNet Managed Network Services connecting BP's retail locations in the United States and in the European countries of the United Kingdom, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Germany. The five-year extension to the current contract calls for the continued support and management of both wireline and wireless broadband technologies at over 16,000 current retail locations, including implementation of new sites as they come on line.
