Hughes Holds 12th Annual Seminar in Moscow on Broadband Satellite Technology and Solutions

Moscow, Russia, May 12, 2009 – Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), the world's leading provider of broadband satellite networks and services will hold its 12 th annual technology seminar on May 13 in Moscow for its expanding base of authorized service provider customers from Russia and the CIS countries. Hughes senior executives from the USA and Russia will share the latest trends in the global broadband satellite market and present the company's latest technological innovations and solutions that are “Redefining the Network” for enterprise, government, and consumer/SME markets.

Hughes will introduce its latest advanced platform—the HX multi-mesh broadband satellite system which is uniquely capable of simultaneous mesh, star, and multi-star configurations. Building upon the many advanced features of the successful HN family, the new HX multi-mesh system supports multiple satellite in-route channels, enabling a dynamic mix of voice, data and video services at high quality of service levels. With over 1.9 million terminals shipped to customers in more than 100 countries, Hughes supplies the world's most technologically advanced and commercially successful broadband satellite systems available in the marketplace.
